Welcome to Happier Bicester – two innovative new programmes to improve mental health and increase happiness in Bicester and the surrounding Oxfordshire area.
All Happier Bicester sessions are jam-packed with self-care and wellbeing – designed to help fill your ‘cup’ and spread ripples of happiness within the local community.
Participation is completely FREE, thanks to generous support from FLTR Coffee and LD Therapy.

FREE HAPPY WORKSHOPS AT FLTR COFFEE
Monthly workshops sharing the science and art of sustainable happiness! Come along to drop the pressures of day-to-day life, tune into your wellbeing and learn how to live more happily.
Research shows that happiness is a skill that can be learnt – with practical tips and techniques from positive psychology, you can flourish, bounce back from challenges, and truly enjoy life.
15 September, 7-8:30pm: What is happiness?
13 October, 7-8:30pm: Self-compassion
10 November, 7-8:30pm: Happier relationships
1 December, 7-8:30pm: Gratitude and peace
These workshops are completely FREE, thanks to generous support from FLTR Coffee’s Generosity Grant. If you can, just pay £3 for a slice of FLTR's delicious cake - and enjoy your yummy treat on arrival! Coffee will also be provided.
Sessions take place at FLTR Coffee, Nightingale Place, Bicester OX26 6XX. Suitable for adults and older teenagers.
FREE PSYCHOTHERAPY PROGRAMME
A positive psychotherapy programme for adults who would like to improve their mental health and wellbeing with the support of a trained counsellor.
The programme consists of 2x individual, one-to-one therapy sessions and 8x therapeutic group sessions. There are two options available - one taking place on Monday afternoons, in-person at Langford Village Hall, and one running online (via Zoom) on Wednesday evenings.
As part of the programme, you’ll be able to:
Speak about your worries, difficulties and problems
Explore the impact of unconscious thoughts and feelings
Consider things from different perspectives
Develop self-awareness and resilience
Improve interaction with others and social confidence
Make positive changes in your life
Get support and encouragement
Reduce anxiety and increase wellbeing
Each programme is limited to 8 people to ensure all participants have the opportunity to share their experiences and make progress in a safe, supportive and confidential environment.
Thanks to generous support from LD Therapy and FLTR Coffee's Generosity Grant, the programme is offered FREE (or for a small donation) to ensure it's accessible to everyone, regardless of financial means. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information and to book a place.

If you'd like more individual mental health support, one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy is available.
Bespoke happy workshops can also be booked for your school, workplace or organisation to promote good mental health and increase happiness. Sessions are tailored to your specific needs and priorities but can include topics such as self-care, the science of happiness, and anxiety management techniques.
